I got played on 6 Music in May 2020.
Yes I did!
On the list of things I want to do and achieve with Coosticks, getting played on 6 Music is on there, and it is high on the list.
Back in the mists of time (31st July 2015) I was lucky and privileged enough to be asked to be one of the support acts for a house gig headlined by none other than Tom Robinson. It was a fantastic night, and there are a couple of photos on the image here from that night.
So it was rather lovely that it was Tom who also gave me my 6 Music debut on his BBC Introducing Mixtape show. Thanks Tom, for the great gig and for playing You Are The Sea.
I’m going to keep ‘getting played on 6 Music’ on my list for the next time it happens! :D
